Dedicated to Dario, Leo, and Luca, who always read this blog – and yes, now I am scared… Crisky drove me through Milan in the morning as I would have slept in Ale’s house for my last night in Milan. Coordination costs were pretty high and I think both Crisky and Ale hated me a bit , but relying on friends for sleep-over may not be always easy. But I loved riding in Milan: I got the chance to know better Camilla, Crisky’s girlfriend and to talk with Crisky deeper, as he is always surrounded by friends and there was not time earlier. Interregnum STOPS 2 and 3 | "Connection" in Amsterdam

Amsterdam pit-stop Eventually they allowed me into the city, so I didn't have to spend 8 hours in the airport. I tried to call the closest friends there, but got unlucky : Roberta was actually in Italy and is coming back next week Floris responded late, as he was working and actually was going on vacation the day after And my best friend did not respond, as he really does not want to see me anymore. Even my gesture of dropping by and saying Hello , was interpreted as an act of ego of myself. Unfortunately it's not like this: I've young but also old enough to understand that keeping grudge towards other people won't make you a better person. I just wanted to Say Hi and probably Apologize in person and to meet his kid. Becoming a mom/dad is one of the beauties of this life, and unfortunately I was not there to support him and cheer for him. STOP 7 | Sicily: Weddings + 10 years in Google

Dedicated to Sergio & Cristina and Verdiana & Giuseppe, who just got married. And to all the people I met in Google over these past 10 years. The last couple of days have been characterized by a lot of emotions and a lot of thinking. Unfortunately Sicily   lets me think a lot every time I go there: it's like a love and hate relationship, it's a wanna-be grow-up environment that has never been like this, due to my scattered life. I cannot live here anymore, but I love coming back. Today I spoke to Lucia, a good friend of mine, asking her if she found her place in the world . I am still searching, for sure. And what's a place? Is it a location? Is it a workplace? Is it a social group? Is it the sublime of the heart or the sublime or the earth?
