They Broke Me! But they will never Shut my Smile!

It's been a long while since my last post, but a dear new friend from Japan reminded me of the healing power of journaling—a truth I often forget amidst life's currents. So, here we are, embracing the blank page as a path to healing and reflection. A lot has changed and a lot has stayed the same since my last blog post in 2021. I ended 2021 healthy and happy, proud of my job and, more importantly, my personal accomplishments. I naturally uplift the energy of those around me... and I truly enjoy doing it. As I tell my team pretty often, "we are all humans at the end of the day". Discovering Humanity, Good and Bad Over the past four years, I saw the best side of humanity. I traveled whenever I could, visiting many places, discovering cultures, corners, and glimpses. I did a US road trip and visited all the unbelievably fascinating Utah National Parks. I added new countries to my count: I'm now at 66 countries , and I've visited six out of the seven Wonders of Th...

STOP 11 | Miami: I am in Miami beach, b***c! (WIP)

Dedicated to the  Destroyers , who think destruction is the solution to start over, overlooking the psychological pain linked to it. And to the  Builders , who meticulously keep on putting together piece by piece, learning from the past, and working for a shinier and brighter future.   When I arrived in Miami, it was not super late, but I was super-tired. I walked around a bit and found an amazing Italian restaurant (a Neapolitan pizzeria) and I gave it a try: it was fabulous. Weather was not super nice (it rained a bit), and probably I thought that me chasing the sun was really finished – I was proved wrong.   Once back at the hotel I booked a tour for the following day: it was a 9h combo tour, to explore Miami and beyond. The following morning I was able to take my transition pic while walking to the tour office, wearing the Belize small bag with a “Miami Beach” street sign behind me.   The tour entailed 3 parts: Everglades Bus Tour Boat Tour We started with...

Dedicated to the Real Friends, the ones who never say "I love you" but who are always there, the ones you ask: "How are you?" and you really mean it and are interested in their answer. The ones you can call at 3AM at night and they pick up the phone for you. And to the People who are late, at least 10 Years late: with good spirit and attitude, you have a lot to catch-up on, but you can make it! I've just realized how lucky I was in both Iceland and Belize with the weather : I basically chased the sun inadvertently or probably the sun did chase me inadvertently. In Iceland we got hit by the hurricane Larry only while driving and then we had pretty amazing weather (still for Iceland in September), despite cold: we could visit so many waterfalls, reach the ice cave, see the Northern lights, navigate the glacier lagoon, swim in the thermal baths, hike the active volcano. In Belize it basically happened the same: we got amazing weather while touring the ATM cave , ...

Dedicated to the Choices , that add salt in our lives. And to the Mistakes , who affect us inside, deeply sometimes. And as Lucifer would say: "Fate is just a result of the choices that you make" Day 5   Day 5 was a travel day, we left our hotel at around 9 for a couple of hours drive till Belize City, to get our water taxi directed to Caye Caulker . We had lunch after arriving and then we went for an orientation walk. We just spent the second part of the day watching sunset and seeing people feeding sting-rays and pelicans. Day 6   Let's say the this day was memorable. And it was memorable because I discovered a lot of things I was not aware of before. Belize has the second biggest Barrier Reef worldwide, and is unique in many ways . And many people came here just for this reason, except me, who needed to go back to the United States somehow and wanted a possible tourist location to re-enter my second home. Anyhow, today we went on a Snorkeling Boat Tour doing, eating l...
