STOP 7 | Sicily: Argimusco, SuperMario and the Ring

Dedicated to Daniele e Miriana, who let me discover Argimusco and much more.

After the weddings, the Sicily trip was really calm and quiet and the best highlight was the visit to Argimusco: honestly I had never heard of it while growing up, and the park itself is not well maintained, but it was fabulous. Megaliths dated back to prehistorian era, with the view on the Eolian islands

Below you can see the rock of the Praying Woman or Virgo.

It was breathtaking. I wish they could organize and maintained the park (and the road to reach it) a way better. Another highlight was that I drove 3 people, including myself ☺.

Can it be a new future archaeological dig? I think there is a lot of work to be done over there.

At night I had the graduation party of my cousin Elisabetta, and it was another occasion to eat, obviously as in Sicily you do two things usually: eating and sleeping :)

The following day, I had the chance to meet Mattia, Nicole and little Leo, who were visiting Sicily for a wedding (yes!) and we enjoyed a walk in Taormina, where I also had the chance to search for a man's ring.

And my Super Mario Opposuits got delivered, so I could do my video as a gift for Sergio and Cristina and many people enjoyed it on Instagram, despite ti being "too much" ☺.

I spent the last few days enjoying the last granitas, wandering through my town (see the library bench below), with my brand-new ring.

And the very last night, I had dinner with my friends from High School. Well, my high school life was a little bit turbulent and we were not friends in this fashion back then, however especially after, we kept staying in touch. One of them - the engineer - lives in Malta and the other ones are near my hometown, being an employee and an entrepreneur. Even if we don't even talk each other frequently, it's always a joy to reconnect. It's basically like we have seen each other the previous day.

We talked about everything, from the past to the future, from reality to dreams. All in front amazing food cooked by dad :)
